About the barbecue catfish
The barbecue catfish is the dish Halal Grills is known for. Each fish is cleaned, scored and seasoned, then grilled whole over open charcoal so the skin chars and the flesh stays soft.
While it cooks it is basted again and again in a barbecue glaze that is sweet first and peppery after. It comes off the grill with a wedge of lemon. Most people add dodo and coleslaw, or share one with chips.
